Una bomba

The more people download And share the better it is

Hes still giving problems.

There are certainly problems by the central server in the evaluation of the dishes inserted. In fact, even putting dishes of the same type are not accounted for, not granted starlets expert and position in the world rankings does not advance. Try to check and fix the problem. This problem has been going on since I installed the latest update. Thank you, I hope that everything is settled!

Fantastic but...

... I need the iPad app!! 5 stars when released!

Delicious app.

Funny, useful and delicious app. :) Its a mix-mash between Foursquare, Pinterest and whatsoever, with a hint of Tripadvisor, but I like it.

Amazing! I just love it!

Simple and easy to use. Eye-catching and useful! You will love it ;)

A dead app

This app hasnt been updated since 2014. The listings are super old. I was unable to find a picture of a real dish from a restaurant that was taken in 2016 in my tiny little local area (Phoenix metro). There are however, lots of pics of food from individual private kitchens (home cooking). Basically. This app is useless.

Been a spotter since the beginning

Foodspotting has always been an app for foodies to inform other foodies of delicious dishes available in restaurants around the world. The format has always been way ahead of any other food app because the information is generated predominately by food lovers for food lovers. I love the Foodie Meet Ups in different countries and being able to follow people & dishes. The merger has in some cases negated the quality of spots (ie. bags of chips on a shelf, an overabundance of Home shots, salt & pepper shakers, pats of butter etc.) I hope that practice wanes because, rank should be based on sight, prep, taste etc. of available dishes.

Great app when it works

Cool app and great concept, and also somewhat well executed. Difficult to navigate at times without any clear directions. On my 4s it constantly shuts down (memory issues?) after navigating the map.

Too many closed places

Its cool and helpful when it works, but there are so many places and dishes it still presents for places that are permanently closed

Where is the WANTED section

And now they make looking at restaurant info difficult. You cannot easily see other dishes at the restaurant. And Basically useless if the "wanted" section is gone from the Explore section. I use that extensively to remember what I wanted to try in different areas I go. Im away for the weekend and I dont have access to the dishes I wanted to try in this area! What is the point of wanting something or loving something now. Tempted to remove this from my phone now and just use Yelp which lets me see my bookmarked places near me. This app is becoming more of a Flickr and social place than a useful tool for finding good eats.

What happened?!

This UI/UX update seemed to break some functionality and workflow from the previous version. Its difficult to navigate in a specific area that you currently arent in and explore restaurants like you used to. Also the general UI on the main section is terrible without visible buttons, and now you have to click on a friends post in order to click "want"

Missing critical features

This app is promising but I cant understand why some critical features (that apparently used to exist) are missing. For example, an easy way to see only the places you want to try, or the ones you loved. There should be lists too, so you can quickly find a restaurant you marked as wanting to try but without having to swipe through a ton of individual dishes. I actually found this app through many reviews that touted this as the pandora for foods. Especially the ability to hide certain types of dishes and not have them show up anymore. Well looks like that feature was actually dropped in an update (because they couldnt find a good place for it in the redesign???...). Why drop the feature that so many articles are raving about. I came here looking for a replacement for Ness. I thought this would be it but Im sadly disappointed.

Terrible

This app looks like it would be really handy, however it is very deceiving. It does not work well and it seems to freeze up quite often. I do not recommend downloading this app. I deleted it after a few minutes.

Most Useful Food App

I use this app everyday all the time. It helps me discover the "hot" dishes in my area and it works great. It isnt obvious and a bit annoying to go through multiple steps in seeing your own profile, "wants, love, etc." Its ordered by date and very unorganized. Just a design issue there but it works well enough.
